I haven't seen them in so long.
I haven't talked to anyone in so long.
But when I dream, they are right there, and we are together, and it doesn't take more than a moment to catch up.
That's kind of sad, isn't it? When your best friends only exist in your dreams?
I wake up every morning after having a conversation with one of my former best friends.
And I think, it was really good to catch up with my old homie.
But then I realize it wasn't a real conversation.
And then I consider calling them.
And then I think about how weird it would be to tell them about the dream.
And then I realize I haven't talked to them in over three years.
And then I realize how alone I truly am.
