Point 1 was an issue we talked about at the time and one that we tried to work on but couldn't quite sort out. We had gear but no experience. We just made it up on the fly.

Point 2 is valid in places. There are parts that I agree are rushed, I missed the timing. In my defense we were matching a beat to the reading because we didn't have a good playback option. On the other hand, I value a quick shift from time to time. A listener/reader that is caught off balance without malice is more likely to read/listen again.

I don't think I'll revisit these pieces. I may not be fully satisfied with the outcome, but I think it stands well as a snapshot of where I was at the time. I have some other pieces I can record and maybe I can learn to be competent at making rhythmic noise to go along with them. Who knows.

You have the gift. I enjoy it and my wife does too. Good man. Thanks.
