I drink too much and I am sincerely unhappy. I have had thoughts of suicide often in the past 18 days.

There are no days when I feel happiness.

There are only days when I can successfully feign happiness to others.

My mind is absolutely fucking perfect.

It is my mentality that is garbage.

The only way that I can move forward is to acknowledge my own flaws.

I cannot imagine that this will be an easy, or pleasant, process.

I can only imagine that it is neccessary.

I hope this message finds you well, and I hope that you are in the best of spirits. Someday I will find you, and we can walk hand-in-hand into the autumnal sunset.

Until then I am on my own, and I will do my best to do well without you.

I will always love and miss you.

Regards,

-Theo

Don't you fucking listen to these assholes telling you to smoke more pot. Numbing your mind, body, and soul with external chemicals is NOT the way to go.

[–] 5 pts

Cannabis is mind expanding. You've been had, goy. Your body has an endocannabinoid system for a reason. You really think the creator got that wrong?

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

For some. For me, everyone becomes a cop , everyone's after me, and my heart races a million times a minute. To each his own, i'm more excited to see MDMA approved for PTSD treatments.

[–] 2 pts

I've heard that symptoms like paranoia are caused by impurities in the cannabis, like if it got sprayed with pesticides or there was something in the soil. Pure organic cannabis or concentrated oil should be fine. (I've never tried any of it myself, though.)

Someday, it will be legal where you are. When that time comes, offer the cop a hit.

[–] 1 pt

@NotHereFor I feel obligated to inform you this is also sarcasm

[–] 3 pts

What is the endocannabinoid system? How does it mesh with the same compounds found in plants?

You fell for the "don't do drugs" D.A.R.E. shit, didn't you?...

[–] [deleted] 4 pts

An addendum.

Cannabis usage, specifically habitual, has a negative effect on a male's testosterone production along with other important mood regulating hormones and HGH. For a man that needs to be decisive and to work at getting things in order, habitual cannabis use will be a detriment.

[–] 3 pts

Indeed!
There we go... some progress at last.

These aspects can be balanced out with the use of supplements like adaptogens. In addition, one can pursue all kinds of other habits that balance out the decrease in testosterone; namely, considerable exercise, a considerable diet that allows one to offset testosterone production, semen retention and I'm sure plenty more things I don't remember.

So, in other words, that's not enough of an argument. I respect your attempt at least. It's refreshing considering other people not only not taking this seriously for TK's sake.

It's because I have experience with cannabis and I know it doesn't help you get your shit in order, let alone find a purpose that makes life worth living.

Best it can do is distract and numb you if you're in a bad place. It's fine in moderation if you have your shit together. Same as drinking. But I think that some clean living and deep thinking is what would help Theo the most right now, knowing him and his situation.

[–] 3 pts

It's fine in moderation if you have your shit together.

I think every hallucinagen has it's basic level of spiritual preparedness you need before it's safe to try.

[–] 1 pt

I think that some clean living and deep thinking is what would help Theo the most right now, knowing him and his situation.

I don't even know how to respond to such a vapid argument...

You know, just because you're lazy and lack motivation and insight doesn't mean other people treat themselves the same way.
In other words, it's not the cannabis that makes you act like that, it's you.

[–] 2 pts

Looks like you and I have started a flame war with this very controversial opinion.

[–] 2 pts

Because you guys are speaking out of turn and trying to convince him, when he needs the help, that our advice isn't helpful.
You do this because you merely don't understand how the chemicals we suggest interact with the biological system.

This isn't a flame war. This is you getting put in your place by people that actually know what they're talking about.
Take your incessant fear mongering elsewhere.

[–] 2 pts

Again with this ultra super big brain patter. You don't have to be a credentialed genius to understand the nature of drugs and dependency.

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

"Don't use drugs" - controversial opinion on a website with a bunch of literal NatSocs.

I know Theo and in his life more pot wouldn't help things. It already hasn't been beneficial.

[–] 6 pts

Love you man, may you find Him now. For your race

[–] 6 pts

I cannot imagine that this will be an easy, or pleasant, process.

It might surprise you. Letting go of your bad habits and working on yourself can be a huge relief.

I did AA for a while. I guess that makes me a quitter. Nonetheless, the experience was valuable and you meet some pretty cool people.

[–] 5 pts

Bad idea.

Those places don't help you.
Sleep properly. Fuck your wife more. Go on the internet less. Move to a smaller town.
Have you tried any gardening, hunting or other activities that let you commune with nature?
Quit your job and learn to make money on your own.
Build something.
Get some pot and smoke some. Mushrooms are also a great choice.

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

i found AA to be of bunch money seeking places, thier fucking dues. I actually had someone who wished they had more people to collect more money.

they didnt give a give about recovery, just their fucking rent

i only had to do it because of court

[–] 1 pt

Somehow, you saying this doesn't really surprise me. You seem like the unhinged type...

With the playful banter aside, these types of twelve step programs are much more malevolent than most tend to realize. These groups are watch and farmed for people with low levels of conscientiousness. They are taken advantage of pretty exclusively.

It's like, if you go hunting for deer, you don't go to the arctic and you certainly don't rent a boat...

You seem like the unhinged type...

naw im pretty fucking square man, i did some shit weekend that really threw me off. I dont want to get into it.

types of twelve step programs

hey if they work for you great, totally awesome im not down playing it. It just wasnt for me, and this was my experience and thoughts.... maybe another place would be different.........

i actually would recommend a psychiatrist, but i dont have insurance

i will talk about it @Theodorekent if ya going thru anything with EXTREME confidence i hope you are doing well

[–] [deleted] 4 pts

you can pm if you sincere, i never liked AA

sorry for lashing at ya last night it wasn't directed at you

[–] [deleted] 4 pts

Try smoking good pot instead or better in infusion, unless you don't feel like it

It hurts way less than alcool, alcool gives rather extreme damage on the long run (well smoking also, but that's not the same general abrasive power on the body, alcool is sort of a detergent, smoke is pollution)

[–] 7 pts

No. Not this. Someone is going to work on themselves and quit a bad habit; don't encourage them to substitute it with some other kind of degeneracy.

[–] [deleted] 4 pts

Better than failing at quiting

[–] 3 pts

I guess that was supposed to hurt my feelings.

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

Someone very close to me quit alcohol with medical cannabis.

It worked

[–] 4 pts

I guess if that worked for them, good for them. But it seems only slightly better than a lateral move. If someone wants to aim higher with their goals (such as being clear-headed and not dependant on chemicals), it is disingenuous to suggest that substituting one drug for another is a good way to achieve this.

This is no slight to your friend though. If they improved their life, good for them.

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

i want to try, but here its in my state with drug testing it just work that way.... they can just say fuck you. they are pushing laws if you are carded it can protect you but you have to go thru court i believe and all that bullshit

[–] 1 pt

Do you know what a brainlet is?
You're acting like one.

People like you, who know virtually nothing about the plant, are the reason it remains illegal. Niggers abuse it, sure. But, what don't niggers abuse that we've all found enjoyment with?

Do you even know what the endocannabinoid system is? It's always painfully clear when people have no idea what they're talking about...

[–] 4 pts

Forgive me, I didn't know I was among such big brained people.

I have no idea about the science of the endocannabinoid system. I know about the plant's effect on the body and mind only through my extensive personal experience with it.

I do not take issue with anyone using it. I take issue with recommending a drug to someone who is considering sobriety. Let 'em take a break if they want to, geez. The question of legality is totally irrelevant to this.

-a lowly brainlet (Seriously, I don't even watch Rick and Morty. The humor probably goes way over my microencephalitic head.)

The issue is, cannabis isn't a fix all.

Our brains aren't all the same.

[–] 4 pts

^ this

Get some good green.

[–] 3 pts

it has helped me tremendously.

[–] 2 pts

That's because it's a spiritual plant.
Cannabis elevates us in a multitude of ways. Certain aspects of the high can be abused, sure. Anything that rewards us with dopamine can be abused, though, so that's quite the tired argument.

See, the endocannabinoid system is important to understand because it's quite clear to anyone willing to notice that the plant was likely literally made for us.
The plant does so much for us. It has incredible uses beyond just making you feel good, too. For instance, all types of necessary amino acids exist in the plant. It should be consumed. On top of that, it's great for making paper and endless amounts of other types of things in the area like clothing, rope and so much more.

The plant fucking makes compounds that mesh nearly perfectly with our nervous system. People that are fear mongering in this thread especially are doing themselves a disservice by berating people that are willing to make discoveries for themselves, they're comprimisng communal progression by deluding themselves to the point where they actually believe the propoganda...

Did you guys know the reason that police, governments and cartels exist is to coordinate the proper movement and concealment of collusion to control the markets?

This drug fucking reverses various aspects of mind control. It disrupts memory association, among other things, causing methods like NLP to go stale.

Now, you all MUST learn the importance of this. It's truly difficult to explain all that needs to be said here. You all need to pay attention.

[–] 4 pts

Hugs man. Try having a joint. We appreciate you. I'm skipping on my usual ending, as that might distract from my seriousness.

[–] 3 pts

It's good that you decided to seek help. I wish you the best on your journey to getting better.

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

From experience, being surrounded by nature or with an animal companion can make a huge difference. Reconnect 🌲🗻🐕🐈🐇🐿🐦🕊

[–] 3 pts

i wish you the best! make sure to exercise and drink plenty of water! posture is also important but not something someone often considers when working on self improvement. you can evolve

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

Good luck man, it worked for me for a while, had almost two years sober before I went back to the bottle. Getting sober is rough, I sincerely wish you the best. Find things that fill your time, keep busy, and try not to spend too much time alone.
