Short summary of Buddhist philosophy:

Buddhists seek to reach a state of nirvana, following the path of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, who went on a quest for enlightenment around the sixth century BC. There is no belief in a personal god. Buddhists believe that nothing is fixed or permanent and that change is always possible.

The five precepts of Buddhism:

Refrain from taking life of other beings.

Refrain from taking what is not given.

Refrain from the misuse of the senses.

Refrain from wrong speech that harms.

Refrain from intoxicants that cloud the mind.

There are also the four noble truths. Refraining from wrong thought and practicing mindfulness meditation is key to the philosophy.

The end goal, through rejection of worldly passions, is to disappear and cease to exist. I see Buddhism as "Spiritual Nihilism".
