We took the dog in when our neighbor across the street passed away and his wife moved to NC and couldn't take him. I remember, back before we got him permanently, when I took him back to his house to get more food. He ran all over looking for them, it was so sad. I wonder if he still remembers them when he looks out our front door and sees his old house and yard. >The sooner he is re-homed with someone to love him, the better. For sure. We were reluctant, not having a dog for ten years and we're getting older, but when the wife's sister couldn't find a place for him, we agreed to keep him. Couldn't bear for him to have an uncertain future. He is such a sweetheart, smart and **very** well behaved! Sure going to miss him when he goes.....
