Can't stop worrying and thinking about Dog. :(

He looks like a really good boy.

This one really tugs at my heartstrings. I have an old Aussie Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, and both his eyes are half blue and half brown, just like Dog's left eye.

If I wasn't 1,500 miles away, I'd come get him myself!

Hope you hear something soon. Poor Dog has to be so confused and sad, hope he's okay!

Poor Dog. He doesn't understand. Still thinks Suplex will come through that door any minute. The sooner he is re-homed with someone to love him, the better.

Maybe not. Dogs understand death when they see it. If Suplex died with him, then at least Dog understands what happened. He will still mourn and miss Suplex, but he gets it. It's really bad for dogs when someone dies in the hospital, and the dog never gets to see the body. Dogs can handle death better than us some times. Maybe it's part of being a Good Boy.

I'm sure Dog is grieving one way or the other. He's a good boy.

Absolutely. It's a little reassurance that he's just grieving, though, and not thinking the Suplex abandoned him.

Poor Dog. He doesn't understand. Still thinks Suplex will come through that door any minute.

We took the dog in when our neighbor across the street passed away and his wife moved to NC and couldn't take him.

I remember, back before we got him permanently, when I took him back to his house to get more food. He ran all over looking for them, it was so sad.

I wonder if he still remembers them when he looks out our front door and sees his old house and yard.

The sooner he is re-homed with someone to love him, the better.

For sure. We were reluctant, not having a dog for ten years and we're getting older, but when the wife's sister couldn't find a place for him, we agreed to keep him. Couldn't bear for him to have an uncertain future. He is such a sweetheart, smart and very well behaved! Sure going to miss him when he goes.....

Dog is very sad but okay.

He is staying with his sister. His sister isn't certain if she will keep him or not, but if she decides not to keep him, Dog will go to his Nephew.

Glad to hear Dog will be with family that he probably already knows. That should help him with his grief. Thanks for the update. Continued prayers for Suplex's family and for good boy, Dog!
