How Do I Handle People Who Accuse Me of Faking My Vax Card?

Obviously, I got the vax, we all did, right? I even have a card. A lot of places around me require vaccination to go indoors, one in particular requires it

To participate in a local organization I need to prove I am vaccinated. No problem, I have a card. That's the very reason I got the card.

But some people have fake cards, and I worry that these people, who are suspicious in nature, will accuse me of having a fake card.

What are some strategies to deal with that? Is there a way I can get a new card and be less concerned about scrutiny? At this point moving to the safe confines of Florida or not joining isn't the option I would like. I just want to make sure I am not accused of having a fake card.

Follow the jewish way: get indignant and tell people they are anti-white and call people bigots who question your authenticity. Get louder and aggressively point to your card as proof! Yell that it has a CDC logo, it has a signature, it's on the proper card stock, etc. Basically, you need to wear the opposition out. Keep repeating over and over here's your proof. Start attacking your opponent's integrity, claim they are racists, bigots and stupid for not recognizing your claim. Say it's illegal for them to deny your vaccination status and if they continue to falsely accuse you of forgering, you will call the police and have your lawyer contact them.

You can ask them any sort of inappropriate question you can think of and tell them you are doing so until they fucking shut the fuck up. Make the point as rudely as you can because this shit is ILLEGAL and wrong and should not be tolerated. Faking a vax card is being a pussy, man up and tell them to fuck off. Where I live most go without masks and no one asks shit.

Vaccination information is classed as PHI and is covered by the HIPAA Rules. However, HIPAA only applies to HIPAA-covered entities – healthcare providers, health plans, and healthcare clearinghouses – and their business associates. If an employer asks an employee to provide proof that they have been vaccinated in order to allow that individual to work without wearing a facemask, that is not a HIPAA violation as HIPAA does not apply to most employers.

It would not be a HIPAA violation for an employer to ask an employee’s healthcare provider for proof of vaccination. It would however be a HIPAA violation for the employee’s healthcare provider to disclose that information to the employer unless the individual had provided authorization to do so. If an employer is running their own vaccination program and an employee chooses to have their vaccine privately, that individual may have to authorize their healthcare provider to disclose certain information about their vaccine to their employer as proof that they have been vaccinated.

Asking about vaccine status would not violate HIPAA but it is possible that other laws could be violated. For instance, requiring employees to disclose additional health information such as the reason why they are not vaccinated could potentially violate federal laws. Furthermore, several states have passed laws – or are considering laws – that prohibit employers in the public sector from asking employees about their vaccine status.

HIPPA doesnt stop vaccination verification requests.

Schools (including private) have been doing it for at least 40 years.

That's not accurate. Employers and schools, for example, can require you disclose medical information if it's related to a business necessity. Nobody is going to have a problem convincing a judge that immunization against a highly communicable disease is a business necessity. Many employers and schools have required all sorts of vaccines for decades.

A buddy of mine was accused of showing a fake Covid card at a bar he went to in NYC. He asked the girl to show him hers, then asked to see the cards for the other three employees at the front desk. All four of theirs looked different.
He then said, 'These all look different. How do I know yours is real?'

Dismiss the accusation as totally baseless (or don't even respond to it at all) and go on the offensive accusing them of something. Is this some sort of scam? Fake cards is a conspiracy theory promoted by crazies. There's something wrong with you if you think mine is fake. Do you have something against me personally? Do you hate me because of the color of my skin? My religion? Just repeat your accusations while never even considering the possibility that they might have a legitimate point.
