This video shows a small black worm extracted from a blue face mask, which had been bought from Amazon and was made in China. The worm was found only after 1 minute of searching and could be seen without a magnifying glass or microscope. A human hair is on the right of it for comparison purposes.
The worm appeared 'dead' until it was submerged in ethanol, at which point it started to swim.
