First, I took sometime to closely examine the blue face masks that I had bought from China last year, that I used to go to the grocery store, and was able to verify black worms with my own eyes.

Took the black worm out of the mask. Put it in water. Didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Changed the water for ethanol, and suddenly it came alive and started swimming. I plucked out one of my own hairs and put it next to the warm for comparison.

The hair was much thicker than the worm and it didn't move.

After verifying this horror for myself, I decided never to wear those masks again. Anything that you can get from the store is suspect. So I decided to make my own. It only took me a few minutes.

First I found a piece of string and used it to make a fisherman's knot. This is allows me to make a loop that can be made bigger or smaller without using an elastic.

Then I took an old handerkerchief, folded it in half over the string and then put some stitches in. That was it, now I have my new mask.

I don't know why I waited so long. It was super easy and quick. I should have done it from the start. I had my doubts from the very beginning about the Chinese face masks, and wondered whether they might be causing disease.

I had bought a magnifying glass to try to find the worms, but it was a hassle to use. As I was searching through the mask to try to find a good spot to scan with the magnifing glass, I spotted it. It was tiny, black, and maybe a millimeter in length and very thin, but i could see it with my own eyes. I searched for maybe 1 minute until I was able to find it.

You didn't post any pictures or video of your findings. Without any visual evidence, your story is just a story.
