Cal-Maine Foods was the largest producer of eggs in the world.

Fresh, clean, pure eggs.

And Thomas worked their as the lead bioengineer in charge of loss prevention.

He tepidly stepped into the office of a high-ranking executive that he had been summoned to.

He wasn't sure if he was about to get fired, or promoted.

Thomas, how are you? I'm Max Bowman, the CFO of Cal-Maine. I'd like it if we sat down for a few minutes, and talked about potential solutions for unacceptable breakage problem that is happening during the transport of our beautiful, nutricious, and delicious eggs. Let's take fifteen minutes of our time, and hash our a quick solution. I've talked to the engineers in the packaging department, and it seems that they have done as much as physically possible to design packaging that protects the eggs from all the bumps and jiggles that happen during shipping and transportation. I need you to help with this project.

Thomas was nervous, but also curious about the details of the project.

Mr. Bowman, I'd certainly be glad to help. But I would like to know what capacity my department could help in to facilitate corporate goals in. The shipping and carrying of eggs is very different from the genetic engineering of chickens.

Bowman smiled, and looked Thomas in the eyes.

That's just it Thomas, we will be combining the bioengineering department with the shipping department. I want you, personally you, to work hand in hand with the guys in logistics, to engineer a self-healing egg shell that fits perfectly into the packaging they ship! It is perfect synergy! This will be a first in market innovation!

Thomas got a little nervous.

Mr. Bowman, I'm not sure this is a good idea, or even possible.

Bowman glared.

We hired you to do the impossible, Thomas. Should I tell the board of directors that you are incapable of performing assigned duties?

Well, no, but...

Then get it done. The future of our shareholders depend on it.

@Intrinsic @Theodore_Kent

You guys should do this at least once a week. These prompted stories are a breath of fresh air compared to the constant political/QAnon echo.

We have weird no-homo synergy.
