Guns kill people. People kill people. The government kills people.

The difference is how many end up dying.

To date, more people have been killed by their own government (communism and the inevitable starvation that follows), than in battle for all the wars throughout all of history combined. 100 million is a lot of people, and that's just the Chinese.

An armed populace is the only thing that can reliably prevent a commie dictatorship, so guns save more lives than they kill.

guns are just a tool like a knife or a scissors even that can be used in the act of killing someone.

guns

knives

scissors

weapon of choice or tool of choice (someone like myself) that kills someone.

even in this movie which is rather dumb, but it works. Not a huge fan of john wick the movie series.

pencil alone - replacing or hollowing out the center graphite (I think they use now) area alone then replacing it with a sharp metal object (steel - match the pencils color) that makes it look like the original pencil again. Even that's a tool that can be used to kill someone.

bit darker than this, but this works as an example.

It takes a human though to get the job done and I think that's why A.I. scares people so much at times because it doesn't think with any emotional intelligence as a start or like a human does as a start (basically or for the most part as a start - depending though).

I prefer stuff like this though myself.

You could escape though to with a box of pencils (12 pack). If you hide the width of the steel in the pencil itself somewhat.

Carrying in a box of pencils alone (12 pack). 0.25 of an inch steel (hardened steel) rods hidden inside with the end looking like a pencil alone (can shave maybe .5 inch off or .5 inch is real to hide it even better).

Can use those to climb a wall. I've never tested this, but I'd figure it would work to climb or go down a 10 foot tall wall (if not some fictional 1,000 foot tall wall you go down to escape at least if not climb for that matter) though just fine.
