Not too long ago I set up a new laptop for a colleague who needs to use a windows only piece of software. Nowhere in the description of the laptop did it indicate it was that windows S or whatever it is that only allows programs from the Microsoft store. I had to do registry edits to get that crap off of there.

I had to do registry edits to get that crap off of there.
I just did a new Ubuntu install and did not find any bloat in it at all. Also, zero ads and it installed fast and ran right off with no issues. Windows should be thrown in the garbage and never considered again. My wife is due for a new work laptop here sometime in the next few months and it will not have any windows shit at all on it.
