I have owned an appliance repair business for seven years. GE appliances were my money-makers, for they failed to function in so many ways. All I ever owned was Whirlpool appliances and the lower-end ones were and still are the best ones. All my appliances are over 12 years old. Even worse than GE is Samsung. Avoid Samsung like the plague. Even the televisions.
