I think the Qinvasion turned voat in to the facebook of "alt-right" sites . There's still value to be had there, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't feel as enthralling, as it used to. It's all rageporn, 24/7. I get it, and it's part of the reasons why voat's great. But that's all I see now. It's good at what it does, I guess. And I still value it, for that. It's just that, these days, I'm not looking so much for reasons to be angry as I am solutions to said problems. Voat's got rope to spare, but it has nowhere to hang it.

Poal is just a platform, what matters is the user base. Without you guys, Poal would just be another random bland place.

I have noticed you and PMYB2 are active in promoting positive user behaviors. That matters, I think, to keep the road open for freest speech possible.

That's the point. It seems like a certain user base has taken over voat, which I don't like to check-in on as much as poal. That being said, I'm just gonna say it: I don't like how you moved my post. I put it in because it has (literally! like, exactly) twice as many subscribers, and knew more people would see it. A "catch-all" sub shouldn't need cleaning. Besides, it's more of a random comment than some information that I want you guys to know. A conversation starter.

This sub is for things that generally don't have another sub. Or you do not know about the appropriate sub.

If in a single day you post more than 5 things on the same subject in this sub they may be moved to another appropriate sub, so that interested people can more easily follow the topic.

Thank you

Sincerely Boobs.

I've only posted the one thing. Just sayin'.

Sorry if you took it the wrong way. We aren’t moving stuff because we don’t want people to see them.

Also, on poal all subs are equally visible. Nothing gets hidden, unless you post in an unpopular sub that has been blocked by most users. Tellpoal is certainly not one of them.

Moving it there will give it even more exposure since the topic is about sharing your thoughts on something related to poal. 😉

> Sorry if you...

Literally a meme. Meh.

We aren’t moving stuff because we don’t want people to see them.

Didn't accuse you of that. If we're being specific: I accused you of excessive modding, due to something akin to "boredom."

I perfectly understand your point of view— I'm just airing out the reasons why I don't agree with it. I'm trying to apply my logic "across-the-board," meaning to be consistent in my opinions. A "catch-all" sub should need no moderation besides site-wide rule enforcement, since doing so violates the very idea of what that sub would be. It ceases to be a "whatever" sub. If anything, it's a "" sub: queue-up while the mods figure out where to put your post. And you know what? That doesn't even bother me: as long as you'd be upfront about what to expect.

And there was so many caustic, cynical, blackpilled users on Voat. Who knows how many are organic and how many are there to dull our willingness to do something positive?

There are so many things to discuss, create, share, than the world that seems ever circling the drain.

Woot. The decompression phase is almost complete. :)
