I'm sick of it! Every time we experience the tragedy of a mass shooting, conservatives immediately begin politicizing the issue with their anti-gun control rhetoric.

I'm tired of tuning into NPR to hear about the details of a shooting and the proposed gun legislation that sensibly follows only to hear brief, condescending mention of the tired, worn-out talking points of conservatives who just can't wait to jump up and down on the graves of these shooting victims for the sole, shameless purpose of promoting their political agenda.

Like, really?

>wE CaN'T JuSt pAsS ReAcTiVe lEgIsLaTiOn bAsEd oN OuR FeElInGs aLoNe wItHoUt cOnSiDeRiNg tHe pOtEnTiAl cOnSeQuEnCeS.

Wow, just wow. Couldn't wait to get all political right after the shooting, could you?

>BuT iT'S OuR RiGhT To bEaR ArMs sO ThAt wE MaY HaVe a dEfEnSe aGaInSt tYrAnNy.

Why are you even talking about it now? Like what could inspire you to spout off these stupid anti-gun control arguments other than you saw an opportunity to capitalize on an atrocity?

How freaking tone deaf to suggest something like that immediately following a shooting?

You are using the victims of a tragedy for selfish purposes.

STOP IT!

Personally, I'm sick and tired of every big news event calling for some simple solution proposed by politicians. These things are societal ills and can't be undone no matter how much legislation on either side of the subject you enact. Political solutions just aren't the answer in most of these type questions. In fact they may add to the woes ... but that's all the press or 'talking heads' seem to imply. Somehow a law will change things ... it won't and never has.

That is just the kind of tone-deaf grandstanding I have had enough of. Like, could you wait a while before pointing out that these tragedies are being used as excuses for political motives that have nothing to do with their cause? Show a little respect!

Hey, I was answering the question you threw out, with my spin. If you look, otherwise I haven't weighed in on this ... so point fingers elsewhere, please.

I'm just kidding around.
