I started a new job through a training program this year and I'm about 80% of the way through it with extremely high grades. I'm going to fail because of social politics. I'm officially on a "do better or we're firing you' plan that basically boils down to stop asking questions, and do everything the way one of your four bosses wants it done and do it faster. Oh and the boss watching you is going to change every day.

I asked for an example of how I'm not taking feedback well, and the one that came to mind to my girl boss was when we were discussing something technical with no one around, and i asked for a literature reference to read up on.

Fuck me. When the accusation is that you don't take feedback well, you literally can't say a damn thing about anything.

I wish this worked like that... I should have run for the hills when i saw I was going to be the only male employee. I'm already trying to figure out a new job and how to repay the fees without losing the house. My life insurance could probably set my family up to go on without me, but fuck... I'm tired of this crap.
