Good on you. just remember to pray for us still stuck behind enemy lines.
Congrats on getting out!
Though a question from an East Coaster who loves his forests: if Texas is too hot, why isn't Nevada?
Dry Heat + Most of Nevada is north of Texas
Yeah I was there for about 20 years and left in 2010-2011. I was worried at first but once I did I never looked back. So happy I did it and I know you will be too. Good luck with everything and God bless.
Godspeed! Don't forget to keep us updated on your journey to sanity/safety.
Fantastic! Best of luck, and safe travels. I left So. Cal 9 years ago for E. Texas. Have not missed it one day. Lived in SF in the 70s- , when it was a working mans town. Last time I was there, the list of restrictions was getting longer. I left E. San Diego, and have not looked back.
Many such cases.
Nevada is one the few states that have laws for a freehold.
Did that myself, but I went way further to find a nice little place. Happy here, and no one knows where here is…
Good job, gtfo there. We're looking into moving too and I've noticed out of all the western states Nevada seems to be a good choice. Good homeschool laws there. Nice houses with beautiful views of mountains that don't cost an arm and a leg too. I hope you enjoy it there.
