On the one hand: I kinda want to be the brave goat and wear my heart on my sleeve. On the other: my self-preservation-senses are tingling. Don't get me wrong, ultimately my internal debate is a selfless one: no one (as far as I know: besides the usual alphabetty suspects) can connect my main account to my IRL identity, so that's not really the issue. It's the vast amounts of content which would get lost forever, which I lament.

Your kidding your self about being secure. If some ABC.gov-faggots are watching voat, and the odds are very high there are, then they've already connected your account to your real life. Deleting your account will do nothing to protect you, they've already got all that shit backed up.
