Just popping in to say hello because I haven't posted in awhile. I went on my annual long bird hunting trip and had a damn good time! I ended up with 6 ducks and just one Rooster Pheasant. I saw lots of pheasant but they just seemed to be coming up real early this year and they were also way out in the swampiest of spots. Not really in a good place to be shooting them. They kept flying out over lakes and big cat tail swamps where I couldn't retrieve them. That's okay, there will be more trips.
