What a generationally characteristic hangup - to want to be the "good guy" amid the morass.
Of course, do what you want. I am disappointed in you, I thought you were better than that.
Now tell me how much better the music today is than ours is/was. I'm not talking about the music business necessarily, although that has only gotten worse as well.
I have all the disadvantages and poor habits of my generation. I'm not better than that, not an exception. Sorry dad!
