My office line has it's own mailbox...I'd be happy to use our softphone, but the vendor was lazy and used the built-in dialer application on my phone to provide all phone services. If you lock down the native dialer, it locks down the softphone as well. I get so few phone calls at work it doesn't matter. We use email for the paper trail.
