Well it would be rude to talk during the movie right?
Anecdotal input here, but I like to space out on those because it's easier to do so than other mediums. We grew up spacing out to nineties sitcoms rotting our brains.
Time wallpapers over memories like that - particularly when there's a new kid/sheriff/idea in town. Just like the cyclical bleatings of financiers spouting off that "This time it's different" when there's repeated evidence to the contrary.
Lessons are typically hard-learned at the time, but the memories are always easily washed away. The sheeple want to believe.
Congrats on getting through that hot training mess. Happy Friday!
Fortunately, the training was a "We haven't done this for a decade but if we get audited for compliance there will be questions, so just sit down, have a donut and coffee, and let us blather for a few hours" meeting.
