Browsing job listings today, for some reason I keep getting IT tech listings pushed to me even though the only thing I know about IT is what I've learned because computer technology and electronics go together today like fish and bicycles. One of those presented was an Amazon position. Right at the bottom of the "holy walls of text, Batman!" listing was this gem:
Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empower us to be proud of our differences. Ongoing events and learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences, inspire us to never stop embracing our uniqueness. We’re continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth’s Best Employer.
Yeah. No thanks.
