I installed a Delta, good luck finding anything not made in China and shitty. Previous owners had installed an Ikea and it was awful in design and construction. The faucet arc was so narrow that you couldn’t rinse a glass without hitting the sink, I hate ikea products.
Ikea is good for certain things. I was given an Ikea down comforter one year, it's pretty nice. I have a set of their display shelves, can't remember the name because I don't speak Klingon. It's great for a low-weight display.
Other stuff that you touch every day? Nah bro, that's shit.
Previous owners sound like they installed a bar sink faucet. Those tend to be narrow because they're meant for one of those little 12" sinks.
Yes, but it looked like one of those industrial faucets. Previous owners were idiots. An “artist”’and a “contractor”. Everything they did has to be redone because they used scrap shit and didn’t own a level.
Ah, form over function. Yah, that's 90% of Ikea in a nutshell.
