I actually don't understand "air fryers". I looked at a few. Simply put, they're small counter ovens. A toaster/oven is only slightly larger than an air fryer. I actually don't own a toaster/oven either. When I need an oven, I use my oven. Yea, it uses more energy but I don't use it often enough to worry about that. Besides, all these specialized appliances take up counter space.

I clean my before use because I'm not smart enough to go clean it after it cools down, so every time I go to use it, yuck.

I'll stick to my lard filled deep fryer. Air fryer just dries everything out.

I was given one of these "air fryers" and threw it in the bin after attempting to clean the rotary cage thing that you can cook the chips in. Fuk'n nightmare of a thing to clean. Also it took up to much space on my bench.
