As @John_Galt pointing out in this thread, I have not been making updates on this situation. I recommend you read that thread before continuing, but I will rehash the same issues later in the post, so you don't have to.

I talked to his sister (I will refer to her as "Heather") again last night. She really is a sweet lady, it is easy to talk to her for over an hour without even noticing. She is obviously going through a rough time, losing her strange brother, and I think she enjoys having someone outside the family to talk to about him. She was always concerned that he had turned into a recluse in his old age, and that he didn't talk to anyone or have many friends. I am always glad to let her know that is far from the case.

@Suplex's Son (I will refer to him as "Wade") came down for the week, bringing his goth Louisiana girlfriend with him. I told her I did not know they had goths in Louisiana. She agreed, it was an oddity. But apparently one night she cooked for them, and it was fried catfish in some sort of cajun sauce, and it was delicious.

Heather, her boys, and Wade all spent the week going though Suplex's cabin. I am told it was quite the affair. I will not go into detail on what they found, other than to say it was nothing bad, but rather quite impressive.

For a man living in a small cabin, with just himself and Dog, he would've done quite well for himself in a post-apocalyptic environment. The one detail I will give is that he had four generators. A generator, with a backup generator, and two backups after that. I will leave it to your own imagination what other sorts of things he had.

As for Suplex, there was no official cause of death. Upon receiving the death certificate, it just listed natural causes. It was probably a stroke, since he had one earlier.

He was cremated, and his ashes were distributed between his son, Wade, and his sister, Heather. Wade took a uHaul's worth of stuff back home with him, and Heather is working on selling the rest.

Wade inherited the cabin, and has no interest in keeping it. However, one of Heather's son's is working on getting together the money to buy it from Wade, so it will almost certainly be kept in the family, as it should be.

I have been working on getting quotes from stone places in Texas. I have gotten a few very basic quotes, but they told me to get an exact quote, I would need certain details, such as the exact copy I want written on the stone, along with the address it was to be delivered to, et cetera.

It was hard getting a hold of Heather this past week. She was going through a lot of personal stuff with family. I don't blame her.

But I didn't even know Suplex's first name until I talked to her. And I didn't know Suplex's last name until last night. I especially didn't know his birth and death dates.

Regardless, now I have the data I need to complete the copy to get a proper quote on the stone. Obviously "Fuck all Yall" will be included, but if any of you have any good @Suplex quotes you want included, please tell me. I would love to hear them. I think I know the one that is the best, but he said a lot of shit, maybe one of you saw something better.

I will post a link to the fundraiser once I have gotten a quote from a place I trust.

Keep in mind, this is sort of a minefield for me. I would prefer not to get doxxed, and I can think of 11 billion avenues this could be used to dox me.

But that is a secondary consideration in all of this.

Regardless, apologies for the lack of updates, this shit just takes time.

Best Regards,

-Theo

P.S.

Dog was being kept by Heather. He has been extremely depressed, only eating half his food each meal. I guess that should be expected. Heather already has two dogs, so Dog is going to a loving home with one of her sons. Dog will be alright, but Dog probably loved Suplex more than anyone else in the world.
