I love White Russians, with Kahlua of course. Piccala will do in a pinch, but I prefer Kahlua. I opt for them when I don't want to get drunk too fast. Black Russians are great after a meal and there's not enough room for enough White Russians to do the job. My favorite vodka used to be Absolute for many years, but Skyy came along and tastes cleaner to me. There are other more expensive brands but I settled on Skyy.
