I will never understand this thinking. When I buy "crazy" stuff it's used and often broken from people like that. I fix it and use it myself or resell it. I don't even do that to supplement my living, I just like to have some things and refuse to pay retail for it. It's pretty easy to learn how to fix a lot of stuff these days.
