He had a chance to get out before this went down. But he wanted the YouTube celebrity. I don't really sympathize with him. He was actively undermining the regime in Ukraine from inside Ukraine while being a foreigner. They warned that guy. He should have left but he didn't cuz he liked the celebrity imo.

honestly I think being or getting famous wasn't his main reason for what he did. Afaik he had enough money to not depend on this

I think he loved being "behind the lines" and giving his opinion. Should have moved to Russia controlled territory.
