Yes, I had to do the same thing. Worse, I'm on a well, so I put in a 1 HP pump, an 80 gallon pressure tank with a pump controller to keep the pressure at a constant 65lbs. It raised my power bill up because now the pump starts when the pressure drops 2 lbs. This means my pump runs at the worst efficiency possible. But hey, I get great pressure.
