It dries fucking nothing! I set it run for an hour, after 5 minutes the sensor thinks it's dry and overrides my initial time and resets the timer to 10 minutes! Nothing is dry!

Klaus Schwab has determined that your clothes are plenty dry enough, goy. Now eat zee booogs!

You will eat bugs. You will live in a standing coffin. You will be soggy. You will tell The State that this is the pinnacle of human achievement. You will be "Happy(tm)".

I cant find the article now but I read where one was using like 3.5 gigs, why the fuck is everything internet connectable these days?

Yeah, I posted that like a day or two ago. It's all bullshit. Go to flee markets to buy your stuff. Probably will work better and last longer.

Your sensor might be acting gay.

Speed Queen commercial is the only way.

I have two whirlpools that have (at this point at time) have been ok to me. Washing and Drying is normal amounts of time. But when they go, Speed Queen commercial is next. And if I sell this place, I'll leave them and add $1000 to the asking price because they are Speed Queens and get a new set.

And to buy them you gotta go through a dealer. But in my case it was painless. That was 7 years ago

I've heard that before....using a dealer. Not a problem here. I am on my THIRD set of washer/dryer in the last 12 years. This shit is over. I wish I got Speed Queen back in the day when I had the chance but money was tight at the time. Now it's not.

When I lived with my mom for a few months, she had a washing machine that I hated. The thing just had a nipple in the bottom that somehow was supposed to swish clothes around. It would get unbalanced constantly and had to be babysat. These new water/energy/whatever saving things just cause more trouble and more energy/water use. Flushing toilets multiple times, etc. There were times I had to wash my clothes twice in a row to get the sweat out.

It's probably the only good thing about my apartment. I've got a washer and dryer that were cheap back in 2000 and I just keep replacing parts on them to keep "maintenance" from replacing them with some energy saver bullshit.

Our LG is ok. We only use it for sheets and towels. Everything else goes on a drying rack to air dry.

Not only my dryer, Fuck Joe Biden broke my dishwasher too. Now, my dishes never dry. Plus I get the added bonus of a stinky smell when the water gets moldy because the inside never dries. Remember when our government broke our toilets? Then our showers? What's next?

Understanding Sensor Dry - Laundry Dryer

Your LG dryer is equipped with an innovative feature and sensor that helps detect moisture in your clothes known as sensor dry which functions with the automatic dryer cycle settings.

Any sensor dry setting allows your LG dryer unit understand how wet your clothes are.

This moisture sensor will automatically adjust the time on your dry cycle setting for effective and efficient drying performance.

This feature aids in the reduction of energy consumption and prevent possible damage to your clothes.

For optimum performance more clothes in general help the sensor detect a moisture content of your clothes. Be sure to separate and sort by weight and materials to effectively promote optimum drying performance. The moisture sensor is located in the front of the dryer behind the lint trap.

It is important that there are enough clothing items tumbling past the sensor for the dryer to effectively measure remaining moisture.

For average load size the dryer won't have any trouble detecting the moisture contents due to the abundance of clothing items passing through the sensors.

However in certain situations when a very small load or single items are dried the sensor may not be able to effectively measure moisture of these items due to lack of contact with the sensor.

Use the Time Dry feature for a few articles of clothing to be able to manually control the length of time on your dry cycle. If you ran your small load using any sensor dry setting and notice that your clothes are still damp. Please utilize a time drive feature, and set the time manually in the future.

It may be more effective to increase the size of the load to help the dryer sense better.

Baby clothes or small items such as socks should be dried using the Time Dry feature for best results.

Thanks for this. The sensor appears to be overriding the time dry, or I can't figure out the time dry. But the sensor is just two long metal bars, it looks like the wet clothing closes the circuit. If I take it out, I can just manually close the circuit myself with a little bit of wire. Then it will always think my clothing is wet

I got one of these years ago when I lived in an apartment that had no dryer hookup. It worked great and I still use it to this day. https://www.bestdryingrack.com/drying/round-tripod-rack.html

It gets pretty humid there in the summer, right? No problems drying your clothing then?
