So I got an outside faucet that is inside a 4" pipe and wrapped in insulation. The top that you can see is 3/4. So I got all the shit to replace it. I wondered why someone ran a 3/4 line over there but wtf? It was being replaced because the hose connected to it had bonded and was leaking. Plus just winter prep. Now this faucet currently just feeds a horse trough. Took the 4" off and cut the insulation and of course its a half inch pipe. Who the fuck changes from 1/2 to 3/4 at a spigot? Assholes.

So go down to old garage and scavenge enough shit to make it work. Cut the end of the hose off that was stuck on and replace the end, two fuckin hose clamps and it still wont seal.

The damn horse tank is 150 ft away, so I had to order a fuckin new long ass hose. ( not my horses )

I've seen cobble jobs like this before. Somebody years ago was too lazy to drive to the hardware store for consistently sized parts.

I get you use what you have on the truck, and it works. It just fucks things in the future.
