Literature from the developer for the new house boasted about High Speed broadband internet options. Well, this was a fucking lie.
15mbps DSL is the only option. Wireless data speed is putrid. Across the board (I’m on Verizon which the consensus says is the best provider for the area).
Royally pissed and venting. Verizon home internet, 5G this and that are not an option even though the service map showed otherwise. Same for T-Mobile.
Satellite is an option from Musk, but cost prohibitive at almost a grand for equipment.
There’s hope for fiber…..in a year or two. Fuck me. This is not good.
