I never used that function of the system. Never saw the point. Only good thing I'll say about steam is they never pestered me with inane emails. GOG used to do that, I never could get the system to stop sending me reminders that they had a "community" I could "join" and do...stuff with...something, I don't know. Deleted that account and that stopped the emails. I assume they don't do that anymore? I remember the person that took my request was very passive aggressive about deleting the account.
