I was out running some errands. Had to dump some stuff. Another guy came up with a somewhat heavy looking box he was having a hard time with. I was trying to get rid of what was in my hands and saw that it looked like he was struggling and stopped him and offered help.

He tried to refuse several times since he didn't want me to get "crud" all over myself. I'm not afraid of getting dirty to get work done. I just told him to not worry about it and lets get it done.

Afterward he said something that you probably thought was coming "Damn decent of you, not many people help each other anymore". Though that was appreciated, what he did next was more so. I was finishing up with my own stuff which he offered to help with but I was nearly done anyway and told him not to worry about it.

He looked over, saw an older man dumping some stuff too, walked right up and said something like "let me help you with that". He said he was just repaying a kindness someone else just did for him.

Sounds unlikely maybe but this might be one of the first times I've ever seen someone "pay it forward" because I helped them out and right in front of me.

We just might make it guys.

Just White people things.

Thanks for reading this. It made my day a lot better after dealing with some stupid crap.

White people things.

Be the change you want to see.

Absolutely!

I once heard someone say, if you don't get invited to the party, create your own. So I do. This actually works out great, because I only invite people I want. Everyone has a great time and now I get invited to parties. I only go to the ones I like.

You need to take care of your community. They don't have to be your neighbors exactly but its not a bad idea to try to get to know them too. I'm really bad about that. Ill try more in the future.

I only posted this because it was a one in a million interaction for me to see the good that can come from a simple gesture and it really made my day better and made me feel like things are not so bad after all.

That was mighty white of you level101.

Im just happy to see so many others saying they do the same. We need to take care of our community.

Based. I was unnecessarily rude and dismissive towards a group of indians today at work. It's the small things that matter.

Why do you work with pajeets?

They come to where I work. Loads of them every day. Not that I have much choice.

Sounds awful

The grocery stores are crazy right now. I had a full cart with about $600 worth. One non self checkout lane open. I let 3 consecutive (Whites only) in front of me with just a few items. Got multiple thanks yous and an offer to help with my load. Wished them happy Thanksgiving and assured them I was fine. I will go out of my way to help Whites. Glad to know there are other like minded Whites out there doing the same thing.

Good on you man. I always try to look around and see if someone has less stuff than I do especially since half of the markets don't even bother to open a "human" checkout stand anymore. If you have a basket or a few items and I have a cart, I just wave you ahead.

Im sure someone like you has done the same for me as well.

I have to go to a county dump with just moveable dumpsters. Its a county full of old people. I help out whenever I can. Wait! What! Im not that fuckin old yet.

See, I knew you were a good guy even though you keep telling us to fuck ourselves.

Good on you man.

Its just being a person really.

Nice and White. Pay it forward. White brothers. White sisters.

Hats off to the guy I helped. He really embodied that. That was the real reason for this post. I don't care so much for people knowing I did something for someone. I was just very appreciative of someone immediately turning around and doing the same. That guy is never going to know how much better he made my day just from that small act. Good on him and good on any of you that do things like this just to do it.

You're doing God's work, sir

Just try to be a good person. Help others when you can.

Excellent. This will be commonplace after we rid ourselves of the vermin!

We can only hope. I was brought up somewhere that you helped people that needed it. Even if you "didn't have time". So you get to work 30 minutes late.. Well, you had to pull 3 people out of snow drifts. You just stop and help in those situations.
