Posse comitatus as I understand it means that the federal military cannot be used as a police force against the American citizenry. It does not prohibit the use of the military to defend our borders. In fact, that is supposed to be the main function of the military, to defend US !!! However, the entire rest of your post is accurate. Infuriating, but accurate.
