Can't get unemployment if you quit. I'm having a very difficult time trying to find a new job while I am fully employed, as I can't afford to take off work to do interviews and make cold calls.
No severance pay if you quit too.
Fair enough - be advised, If you're fired for negligence you can't get unemployment either.
They only say that, but it never holds up.
If you get fired for cause you can't get unemployment either. Ask them for a package and have them lay you off.
Whatever happened to finding employment through your social networks? Your actual face to face human being social networks not the digital stuff. I am not very social in my local area but if I needed a job I have about 50 people I could call.
My social network disintegrated during pandemic/lockdown.
