I had already heard that Hezbollah isn't just a group, they're a proper military force.

But I just did a search after seeing some headlines, and wikipedia doesn't mince words. Wikipedia, of all sites (I mean, known for control by the tribe we've come to know and love.)

Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shia Islamist political party and militant group,[1][2] has an exceptionally strong military wing, thought to be stronger than the Lebanese Army,[3][4] and equivalent to the armed strength of a medium-sized army.[5][a] A hybrid force, the group maintains "robust conventional and unconventional military capabilities",[7] and is generally considered the most powerful non-state actor in the world.

Makes me feel like that scene in Rambo - First Blood, the part where they find out he's a green beret. "The guy's a war hero!"

Actually might watch the movie again soon, it's one of my favorites.

Doesn't matter unless they commit.

Not easy when you got 2 US Carrier battlegroups right off the coast of Lebanon.

Their involvement would lead to a cascade effect.

I'm thinking that's the plan.
