what is your idea for a way forward?

People think differently. We will never agree about everything. My view is if someone is motivated and inspired (for once) then that's usually good.

The way forward is not the one true path because there is no such path it's possible to agree on. The path forward will consist of 100s of different strategies in order to win. As a stupid analogy imagine 100s of bikes hunting the jews, what one shouldn't do is to put a rod between anynof the spokes of those bikes so that the bicyclist falls over. We need em all. The only exception is if any of the strategies are obviously working against us and I don't think OPs suggestion is that bad.
