These days it's difficult to choose to save dollars because of how quickly our currency is devaluing. It's also difficult to argue that metals are the way to go, given how controlled the gold and silver markets seem to be.
I've decided to invest in real property. When I see preservable commodities, that I regularly use, I stock up. I don't shy away from home improvements that will increase the value of my home. I also am doing more preventative care to my vehicle. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to review, replenish and diversify your SHTF stockpile.
