I had some relatives come into town sick as dogs with RSV (sniffling and sneezing and coughing all sounds like the common cold to me, but apparently every variety has a name now). Within short order my spouse and I promptly started coming down hard with it, and I do not have time to be sick for weeks like the plague-bearing relatives.
It just so happens that I had some spare veterinary ivermectin lying around. I figured why not ballpark the dosage down from "horse" to "human" and give it a shot.
Cons: "Apple flavor". More like "goaty butthole flavored". Extreme bitter aftertaste.
Pros: Dramatic overnight improvement from "coming down with plague" to "We feel like we skipped being sick all the way to 99% recovered". Compared to the plaguebearer relatives who were sick for weeks. And no side effects. This is a broad-spectrum anti-viral wunderdrug IMO.
