I had some relatives come into town sick as dogs with RSV (sniffling and sneezing and coughing all sounds like the common cold to me, but apparently every variety has a name now). Within short order my spouse and I promptly started coming down hard with it, and I do not have time to be sick for weeks like the plague-bearing relatives.

It just so happens that I had some spare veterinary ivermectin lying around. I figured why not ballpark the dosage down from "horse" to "human" and give it a shot.

Cons: "Apple flavor". More like "goaty butthole flavored". Extreme bitter aftertaste.

Pros: Dramatic overnight improvement from "coming down with plague" to "We feel like we skipped being sick all the way to 99% recovered". Compared to the plaguebearer relatives who were sick for weeks. And no side effects. This is a broad-spectrum anti-viral wunderdrug IMO.

Yeah, the paste is awful tasting. I've taken it at even the slightest sign of a cold. I record audiobooks and can't risk my voice which is always the first thing to go. When they sent me into the office for a stupid meeting I took it the day of and two days after just to make sure and no one with their damned flu shots got me sick.

Correct, it nukes RNA viruses if you take it right when you start to feel something is off. It works for influenza, the wuhan virus, and most forms of the common cold (but not all).

Zinc and Quercetin are also good to take if you feel like you are coming down with something.

You should take D3, K2, and vitamin C daily, and these other things only when you feel sick.

Did you have it as a paste? They have 12mg pills for humans.

Yeah, I happened to have the paste on hand. If I'd planned ahead I'd have gotten it in pill form because bleck was that nasty tasting.

That's the "good" flavor. Wait till they ship you the white stuff.

So you just took one off dose for you bodyweight and that's that?

Yep. That's why I was so surprised.

I've been feeling a bit sickly lately, working outdoors and rain season is in. Will take a dose and see if it will put me back on track.

This has been my experience with it as well. I take it when I first feel the start of symptoms, and I recover almost immediately. Good stuff.
