Pilots do not place their plane on autopilot to eject. If the plane would still fly while on autopilot by definition there is no emergency to justify ejection. Pilots eject because the plane is unrecoverable - it's a flying coffin.

This is definitely a possibility. Used to be only the most qualified reached pilot status, the top of that were fighter pilots, and the top of that qualified for the top fighter seats. Now, xhe is qualified because of (((reasons))).
