This post is inspired by that peppercave honeypot with the 14.88% discount code.

PSA:

1) if you order online with a card or any electronic banking transaction you are 100% doxxing yourself for the next 7 years (and with the cost of data storage now you should assume permanently). 2) legitimately based businesses have their card processing accounts and bank accounts closed and cannot access the financial system. 3) if you see a "based" business marketing on gab or similar that somehow accepts card payments online you should be very suspicious about how they are able to accept payments electronically without being shut down. 4) if you have "home delivery" you are opening up another door to being doxxed, because it's relatively simple to get the delivery records from online merchants.

More red pills about the financial system:

  • The information about you from your bank account record is tied to every online purchase you make.
  • Every transaction and the person behind it can be surveilled by various agencies in the US Treasury and 3 letter agencies without a warrant because of the bank secrecy and patriot acts.
  • They can get a warrant after the fact when they want to come after you using the warrantless data to guide their investigation. They know exactly what they are doing, and you will be unable to prove they used warrantless financial data to entrap, meaning this information will not be admitted to court during discovery and can't be used in your defense.
  • What's most common is that your bank will suddenly close your account without providing a reason (but really because of a purchase you made from a business they do not like), locking you out of the financial system.
  • If you are allowed to openly transact electronically with a "based" business, it's either they haven't noticed (unlikely), or it's an intelligence gathering operation.
  • The best advice is to buy local from businesses you know and like, leave your phone at home, and pay with cash. Be like the Amish.
  • Do not use large banks, open your accounts at local small banks or better yet credit unions.
  • If you have to buy online and want to support based businesses, try finding a business that accepts non-electronic payments and/or private cryptocurrencies if you want a chance to keep some degree of privacy.
  • You really have to know what you are doing with cryptocurrency though, so this is not a good idea for most people.

Unfortunately I’ve avoided donating to many places I wanted to simply because basically any form of online money transfer is a dox.

Wish there was a way around that.

there's electronic credit cards and prepaid credit cards and so on but if you are receiving a tangible item at an address there are records. I've saw a fairly anti government overreach 2a manufacturer being called out for complying with warrants and such but what should expectations really be? I'm getting "your shit got doxxed" letters from a cell phone company I used decades ago and a town I stopped living in a decade ago, data retention needs to change and the people who store the data need to be held accountable. The basic ISO cert is all about burning data after a time period which is how the businesses do business but it's another story with civilians data. I wish these fools would at least store the old stuff on an offline hard drive and have to manually access it if ever needed if not just destroy everything after warranty is expired or whatever the relevant thing is.

> prepaid credit cards

You still have to register those to use them for online purchases. At least the ones I've gotten ahold of.

There is. Mail them cash.

Can't be sure they got it then and you'd have to lie about the return address.
