I'm from the UK, I don't garden anymore, used to have an allotment until the thieves made it not worthwhile in maintaining our own heirloom varieties. Unless I'm mistaken, every seed we buy from a shop or nursery in the UK is GM unless you do your research and join a club that uses heirloom seeds(I'm going back well over 10 years and so things may have changed), I know I had to pay a subscription to join the club(£1 per year lol), but I used to love the taste of home grown despite all of the time and effort it took.
I didn't ever want GM and so researched heirloom at the time and went with that.
