When I got up this morning, I found my spouse crouched naked in the bathroom, slathering the dog in tomato paste. Doggo is shaking and splattering the walls red like a murder scene.

"We were out of tomato soup" was the explanation.

Either I need to go grocery shopping or doggo FAFO that skunks are not breakfast.

i wash with vinegar and dawn dishwashing soap, maybe a splash of peroxide. Some skunk soap recipes call for peroxide, but it can bleach fur, as someone said previously in this post.

Dawn & Hydrogen Peroxide ended up doing the trick. Doggo looks like his fur may have bleached a few shades lighter, but that's no big deal.
