Your shame mechanism is still based upon logic and reason. These people have neither.

i.e. They can't feel shame at hypocrisy because it doesn't exist for them.

e.g. Their intent is better than yours therefore you are evil and they are right.

Their brains can't comprehend more in the same way you can't comprehend their simplified thought.

They do else they wouldn't be where they are at. They are extremely vulnerable and weak to ridicule. It's a near universal fact of humanity. This is why virtue signaling is so important for them. Remove the "virtue" of their position and their support withers on the vine.

You may disagree but that inherently means you believe they are not a human.
