Normally, I'd agree. However, these people have no shame and/or conscience. If they do, it's been compartmentalized and overridden. They've been mind controlled and believe the last talking point they've heard.

Don't confuse the average person with the talking/screaming heads you see all over the internet. They are very different people. The average person goes wherever the mob mentality takes them so long as they can feel good about following the mob. Thus the importance of virtue signaling.
