Ridicule is extremely powerful. Shaming them for their hypocrisy and stupidity is a potent weapon. The people who support this nonsense are especially vulnerable to its power. We know this because they already support those platitudes and that's how they got there.

Normally, I'd agree. However, these people have no shame and/or conscience. If they do, it's been compartmentalized and overridden. They've been mind controlled and believe the last talking point they've heard.

Your shame mechanism is still based upon logic and reason. These people have neither.

i.e. They can't feel shame at hypocrisy because it doesn't exist for them.

e.g. Their intent is better than yours therefore you are evil and they are right.

Their brains can't comprehend more in the same way you can't comprehend their simplified thought.
