While there’s still plenty of troublesome things weighing on me, I had a beautiful morning with the wife and baby. The other day the wife asked me about trying to take them to see a train, not the silly modern transit trains, a real train. Couldn’t find anything. On a whim I suggest going to a farmers market a few towns away, local crafts and artists, and a children’s consignment store just around the corner. Turns out there’s also an old train station there that the historical society has been refurbishing and today was the day they brought out an old locomotive for a spin! Also baby girl got her first scraped knees today. Eyes teared up, but she didn’t cry. My tough little cookie.

Aye. It’s like Ben Franklin said, “time keeps on slipping slipping slipping into the few ture.”

And I always thought that was Steve Miller

Ever notice that you never see Ben Franklin and Steve Miller at the same time? I’ve said too much…

Yeah, like Vivian Stanshall and Paul McCartney (Bill Shepard).
